Obituary of Clarence Martineau
Clarence F. Martineau (Sparky)
October 23, 1932 - July 9, 2010
Peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2010, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away at 77 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Myrtle, children Lezlie (James), children Jazmin and Jesse; Tracy, children Darien, Regan, and Stepdaughter Kristy; Robert (Jennifer), children Morgun and Luke; Tony and son Tanner.
He is survived by his sister Muriel, late husband Adolph, sister-in-laws Ruth, late husband Ed, Carrie, late husband Johnny, Connie (Ken), and his many nieces and nephews and their families.
Clare was employed by the Canadian National Railway from 1951-1991. The friendships he had with many of his co-workers were the highlight of his railway career.
Clare and Myrtle enjoyed many years of get togethers and social events with friends. Clare's extended family was important to him and he loved spending time with them.
He built the family cabin at Booster Lake with the help of many friends and family. His many years spent at the cabin brought him so much pleasure.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family appreciates the wonderful care Clare received in his latter years at River East Personal Care Home.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to River East Personal Care Home; Hope Haven Wing.
