My belated condolences to the Mazak family. I first met John at Isaac Newton Junior High. Then, ran into him when he was hired for the new Mountain & McGregor Safeway. I would say he was a character. Many times the backroom of the store would be a mess from John and Boris having wrestling matches and knocking boxes all over the place. Next I ran into John at the Tuxedo store ran by Ernie Pocuyluko. One Friday evening John and another person were chasing each other in the upper part of the store. Their feet were going right thru the tiles. The manger was furious as the big bosses would be visiting his store that evening. That was the last I heard from John.
Some people leave you with memories and John was one of them.
God Bless and Rest in Peace.
