Obituary of Frank MAZUR
FRANK (FRANCIS) MAZUR
It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing away of Frank Mazur on September 01, 2009.
Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lillian (Krochuk); sons Bruce and Bob; and granddaughter Angela. He is also survived by his brother Peter of Winnipeg; his sister Anne (Soreng) of Vancouver; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was born on a homestead in Stead, Manitoba on January 7, 1931 and moved to Winnipeg. He spent 42 years in the brewery industry. First with Drewry's; then Carlings; followed by Carling- O'Keefe; and finally Molson's from which he retired. Grandpa's first passion was his granddaughter, Angela. They spent countless hours together. His second passion was puttering around his yard and house in the city and his yard and cottage at Hillside Beach. "There is always something to do if you are looking for something to do."
The family would like to thank Dr. Terry Babick; Dr. Pat Harris and the staff at the Oncology Section at Concordia Hospital; and Dr. Robin McClure and the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for their kindness, compassion and care.
Upon Frank's request a private service for the immediate family was held.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Frank
