MARGARET (MARGE)ELIZABETH MICHALSKI
(nee Kraemer)
October 14,1919 - January 14,2010
Peacefully with her loving husband and family by her side, Marge Michalski passed away at the age of 90.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Laurence (Larry); her children Laraine (Paul), Marie (Alistair), Kathryn (Gordon) and Teresa; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. She is also survived by her brother Paul (Helen) and sister-in-law Eleanor (Maurice).
Marge was predeceased by her parents and 4 brothers.
As a young girl Marge took part in sports with her brothers, helped her father in their grocery store and eventually in their shoe factory.
Marge married Larry in 1944 and lived in Winnipeg where they raised their 4 daughters. She was a very dedicated, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She enjoyed music, travelling and spending time with her family, which meant the world to her.
The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital and Concordia Place 3rd floor for the wonderful care she received.
Prayers will be said on Monday, January 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main at Inkster. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe and Brazier. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, if relatives and friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
