Obituary of John MOSIEK
JOHN MOSIEK
June 16, 1946 - July 14, 2008
Our precious husband, father, grandfather and friend lost his short battle with brain cancer, fighting to the end at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was a gentle man who left a soft footprint on this earth.
John will be forever missed and remembered by his loving wife of 34 years, his "Jac" and by his two precious sons, Stefan John (Lisa) and Christopher Sean (Lee), his memory will be passed on to his first granddaughter Machaela born May 22, 2008. She will never know his touch but we, his family, will pass on his love to her.
He also leaves to mourn, his mama Viktoria, his sister Emily (Bob) Stadnyk, his sister-in-law Gerry (Barry) Carter, Greg (Heather) Brown and Mathieu, his nephew Brett (Maria) Carter, Stefano and niece Shannon (Dan) Stevens, Jennifer and Rebecca.
John was predeceased by his father Frank and his beloved dogs, Susie, Katya and Robbie.
John will leave a huge hole in the hearts of his many friends, especially Terry and Marilyn Boyd. His paradise at Grand Beach, JJ and sons will hold his spirit safely.
John was retired from CPRail and had a few hobbies including flyers and puttering at the cottage. He loved his curling and curled with Nicolet Curling Club for 25 years as a Third and Skip.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
