Obituary of PHYLLIS CHATELAINE
Phyllis Josephine Chatelaine (nee Dynkavitch)
It is with sadness that the family of Phyllis announces her passing on February 27, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Phyllis was born in Winnipeg, MB to William and Mary (nee Ewatski) Dynkavitch on June 3, 1935.
Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Ruth (Brian Stokotelny), Judy (Fred Bown), Linda (Archie Marynewich) and her sons, Edward and Jack Peter (Audrey). She is compassionately remembered by daughters, Mary (nee Wilskoski) (Ernest Kondrat, Andrew and Lisa), Rose (nee Wilskoski) (Marion Kotelniski, Suzy and Cherise) and Sister Catherine Donna Marie Yaskiw.
Phyllis will be remembered by her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jenny, Suzanne, Jennifer, Michelle, and Michael, and 11 great-grandchildren. Phyllis is survived by one brother, Johnny Dynkavitch (Donna) in addition to numerous relatives.
Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband, Romeo in 1987. She was also predeceased by her grandsons, Robert, Adam and Billy.
A Funeral Service in memory of Phyllis will be held on Friday, March 2, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with Father Mark A. Tarrant officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main Street.
A special thanks to all staff in Station 1 at Extendicare Tuxedo Villa for their exceptional care and attention to Phyllis over the past three years.
