Obituary of Harold Plischke

Harold John Plischke Harold passed away peacefully December 24, 2009 at Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 85. Harold will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Geraldine, his daughter Marion Bulejsza (Steve) and his two sons Terry and Michael; grandchildren Bill, Jason, Shawna, Tara, Alex and Ryan; great-grandchildren Tyler, Caelen, Drü, Mae and Tristan. Harold was predeceased by his parents and all 7 of his brothers and sisters. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Harold had a few different careers in his life time, starting with taking over the family farm, then moving his family to Pine Falls and running the Pinewood Hotel and then to Winnipeg running a restaurant until retirement. Although the last few years were more difficult with some health issues Harold was never one to complain and kept his happy demeanor that he will be fondly remembered for. The family would like to thank the staff at Holy Family for their loving care and support. Prayers will be held on Sunday, January 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe Ave. at Brazier. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Harold's memory may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
