Nettie Podolsky peacefully passed away on Dec 30/08 at St Joseph's Residence. She is survived by her sons Bob[ Mariette], Bill [ Margaret], Richard[ Beverley] and Dennis; her grandchildren Douglas, Dean, Kathleen, Tim[Catherine], Chris[Melinda], Donald[Nicole], and Deanna; and her great grandchildren Matthew, Lena, Cole, Craig, James, Amy, Jocelyn, Karleigh, Brendan, Julia and Tyson,. Nettie also leaves numerous nephews and nieces to mourn her passing. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael and her infant daughter Margaret Rose. Nettie was born in Woodridge, Manitoba. She was a long time employee of the T. Eaton Company. She was an ardent bowler in her later years and won many awards. She was an active member of the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church. Our family thanks the staff and volunteers at St Joseph's Residence for making mom's last years comfortable and happy. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, Jan 6, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church,1001 Grant Ave. A memorial service and interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
