Obituary of Verna Trylinski)
Verna Romanow (nee: Trylinski)
It is with great sadness and loving memories that we announce the sudden passing of our mother/grandmother, Verna Romanow, at the River East Personal Care Home on Saturday Feb.12, 2011.
Mom was predeceased by Joseph (1990). Dad's passing left a huge void in mom's life, but now we are at peace knowing that they are together. Mom was also predeceased by her parents Michael and Anastasia Trylinski, brother William and sister-in-law Stella Trylinski (Thunder Bay), Zygmunt Trylinski (Calgary), and brother-in-law Peter Malegus.
Mom is survived by her loving children Tony (Wendy), Tim (Maria), Margaret (Jan Gosek), Tom (Kelly), and grandchildren Michael, Lisa (Shane Walters); Ryan, Larissa, Darcy; Melissa, Shawna, Brandon and their mother Eileen; and great granddaughter Riley Walters. Mom is also survived by her siblings Chris Trylinski, Louise Malegus, and from Calgary Kay (Bill) Zukowsky, and sister-in-law Anne Trylinski. Also surviving her are many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Special thank-you to the staff of River East (Serenity Cove) for the extra special care that mom was given over the past year.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, February 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Cooks Creek, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Verna's memory to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
Mom, your unconditional love and support will remain in our hearts forever.
