Obituary of Elsie Sain
ELSIE HAZEL SAIN
(NEE ROOS)
August 18, 1927 - August 8, 2010
Sadly, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away after a lengthy illness on August 8, 2010.
Elsie was predeceased by her brothers Eric, Robert and Olaf; brother-in-law John Rzonca and sister-in-law Rena Roos.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Peter; her daughters Margo and Cathryn (Doug); her grandchildren Rebekah (Brad), Peter and Gregory; her sisters Mary McCreedy (Allen) and Maggie St. Louis (Russ); her sisters-in-law Josie Rzonca, Julie Quick, Phyllis Roos and Joyce Roos; brothers-in-law Larry Sain (Dorothy) and Rudy Sain (Johanna) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Elsie was born in Winnipeg and lived in East Kildonan where she met and married the love of her life, Peter, in 1951.
Elsie was an active member for a number of years in the East Kildonan Baptist Church where she found great joy in serving her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Elsie loved her family with all her heart and took great joy in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
