Obituary of ERIN FISHER

ERIN FISHER BA, Adv, BSW It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Erin Fisher on March 7, 2012 at the age of 39 years. Erin is survived and missed by her beloved partner Dean, her parents Stephen and Maida, sister April (Mark), her three dogs Trixie, Maddy, and Autumn, her nana Doreen Fisher, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Ontario. Erin was born in Toronto Ontario, on May 28, 1972. She moved to Winnipeg in 1981. Throughout her life Erin excelled at academics and was most proud of her advanced degree in social work that she earned from the University of Manitoba. Erin’s career was as a Case Coordinator with the WRHA. Throughout her life Erin was active in the community and always helped those most in need. She had a giant heart and touched the lives of all that knew her. Erin was deeply committed to animal rescue and welfare and loved spending her time with various dog groups. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to D’Arcy’s Ark or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
