Obituary of Dona Scott
Dona Marie Scott (North) Nee - Klushewich
With deepest sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Dona in the presence of her faithful companion, Claudette a German Shepherd on May 27, 2008.
Her memory has been entrusted to her sister, Barbara Shipley, Godson Mathew Smith and aunts Mary Klushewich, Jean Loepp, Olga Wojnarski and their families and the Henry/Mary Wonnek's family; as well as many friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by aunt Victoria, grandparents, Barbara and Joseph Klushewich, mother Anne Klushewich, aunt Mary Wonnek, uncle Henry Wonnek, brother-in-law Don Shipley, uncle John Klushewich.
From a very young life she embraced many challenges head on and her accomplishments were many. The pinnacle of which was graduating from the U of M with a degree in Human Ecology which afforded her a much loved although short a career of teaching in at Shawattawa and lastly Lake Manitoba School Division.
She loved children so - particularly enjoyed going to her Godson Matthew Smith's hockey games and cheering him on and watching him grow. Reflect in her remembrance - watch the flight of the birds and butterflies, enjoy a rainbow after a summer storm, watch children at play.
Donations may be made to the WHRA Renal/Kidney Transplant Program or the Humane Society. Please remember to sign your donor cards and let your family know of your intentions.
Service will be conducted at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 1:00 pm Reverend Anthon Bouw officiating. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com
