Obituary of Bridget SIMON
BRIDGET DAWN SIMON
February 9,1973-September 5,2008
Peacefully with her family at her side, Bridget lost her courageous life long battle with diabetes on Friday, September 5, 2008.
Left to mourn are, her daughter Kayla, mother Pat (Barrie), brother Dwayne (Jennifer), cousins Drew, Paige and Chase, "Amma" Freda Freeman and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father Marvin Simon.
Bridget was born and raised in Winnipeg. She attended Prince Edward, Munroe and Miles Macdonnel Schools. She had a passion for helping people and for a time worked as a healthcare aid for "We Care". She had a great love of music and dancing but her greatest love was her daughter Kayla and her greatest wish was to live to see Kayla graduate.
The family would like to thank Dr. A. Robertson and his staff at the St. Boniface I.C.U. and Irma Friesen at Seven Oaks Hospital Dialysis for all their care and consideration.
A Celebration of Bridget's Life will be held on Thursday, September 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Pastor Tom Campbell conducting the service.
In lieu of flowers a Trust Fund has been set up for Kayla's education at Scotia Bank, Transit #70607, Unit 14 - 1500 Dakota St., Wpg., MB R2N 3X7.
