Obituary of WANDA CZEZOWSKI

WANDA CZEZOWSKI (DOBROWOLSKA) On March 13, 2012, Wanda passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 99 years. Wanda is survived by daughter Ursula (Zenon) Grubiak; grandchildren John, Anna and Mary; great grandchildren Michael, Lisa, Steven, Paul, Luke, Matthew, Ava and Sarah. She was predeceased by her husband Edward. Wanda was born April 7, 1912 in Kozowa, Poland. She was the eldest of four children. After WWI she married Edward Czezowski and had a daughter Ursula. Edward left for WWII and Wanda independently ran the homestead. In 1958, Wanda and Edward finally reunited in Winnipeg. Wanda was a devout Catholic and instilled those values in her child and grandchildren. Her kindness, generosity, patience and wonderful sense of humour will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and Holy Family Home for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Friday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue with an Oblate Father as Celebrant. Interment to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery. She is finally reunited with her loved ones. Niech spoczywa z Bogiem!
