ANN NELLIE SKORENKI (NEE SOLARZ) With the same grace and dignity as she lived her life, our dear mother and grandmother, Ann Nellie Skorenki passed on to be with her beloved husband Andrew in the early afternoon on Wednesday, February 18, 2009. Mother was born on May 3, 1912 and lived her entire life in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew (1984) brothers Michal and Stanley, sisters Mary (Minka) and Antoinette (Tennie), brothers-in-law Kazik and Joseph Boleszczuk of Woodstock, ON. Mother will be lovingly remembered by daughter Eileen of Winnipeg, son William (Bill), daughter-in-law Barbara of Calgary, grand daughters Andrea and Dana of Edmonton, brother-in-law Danny of Winnipeg, sisters-in-law Renate and Hilda Boleszczuk of Woodstock, ON. cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mother was devoted to her family and was very proud of Andrea and Dana and their accomplishments regarding their life goals. Andrea will shortly be completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Dana is in the process of obtaining her law degree. While mother was in good health, she enjoyed reading her mysteries and the Reader's Digest. She also loved to cook and bake and, of course, Bingo. Our family would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to the Maples Personal Care Home staff for their care and support given to mother during her residency at the home. She was very fond of many of the staff as they were of her. At mother's request, cremation has taken place. A Rosary and Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Fr.
