MARIA DA CONCEIÇ�O SOARES With deep sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Concei��o on September 17, 2010 at the Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 79 years, with her family by her side. Concei��o will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Maria Luisa Delgado (Jos� Luis), Connie SimÃĵes ( Joe), Lidia Morais (Hermenegildo); grandchildren, Paulo (Livia), Silvia, Catarina, Cynthia, Richard, Daniel, Cathleen, Andrew (Caitlyn), Sabrina, Marla and Emma; sisters-in-law Liberia Pacheco Tavares, Maria da Luz Tavares, Evangelina da Silva (Azores) and brother-in-law Jos� Soares (Toronto); numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Carlos Soares, brothers and sister. Concei��o was born October 3, 1930 in S�o Miguel, Azores, Portugal where she lived until 1979 when she and Carlos emigrated to Canada to be near their family. She was a generous, dedicated, hardworking mother and grandmother who enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She especially enjoyed helping raising her grandchildren and participating in their special events. She was very friendly and outgoing always making new friends. Concei��o enjoyed travelling with her family, seeing new places and trying new things. She was a religious person, extremely devoted to Santo Cristo dos Milagres. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and Doctors at the ICU, Seven Oaks Hospital for their support and compassionate care. Vigil prayers 7:00 p.m., Monday September 20 at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin Street. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. September 21, at Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Father Wladimir Porreca officiating. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. You were always there when we needed you No task too great or small With a loving heart and a willing hand For us you did them all. You will always be loved and remembered
