I knew Max in his "glory days" as a tremendously talented fundraiser and a very creative manager. While I recognize the pain that his later years brought to him and his family, I will remember his dynamism and humanity. I recognize the significant contribution that his work made to the life of several major cultural organizations in Canada. It was a time and he was one of us. I hope that others will also remember him well. Wendy Reid
