Obituary of Laurette Toutant
Laurette Simone Toutant (n�e Pr�jet)
Peacefully with family by her side Laurette passed away on June 12, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
She was born on September 19, 1927 in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. Laurette was predeceased by her loving husband Victor, parents Joseph & H�l�ne, infant sister Eliane and brother Robert. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Jacqueline Cook (Jim), Maurice & Lucille. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Robert, Matthew and Breanne. She also leaves to mourn her brother Maurice (Denise), sisters Estelle and Lucille and in-laws Emile (Marie), Richard (Lucy), Lynne and Irene.
Laurette was quiet and reserved, never wanting to impose on anyone. She enjoyed a good discussion and her quick wit would often make people smile. Laurette had a very generous spirit and especially enjoyed visiting with her family and friends, who she loved so very dearly.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Foyer Valade for their care and commitment over the years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing prior at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St. with Fr. Ron Leger officiating. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Laurette's memory to St. Amant Center, 440 River Rd. Wpg, MB, R2M 3Z9 or a charity of your choice.
