Obituary of Victor Toutant

Victor (Vic) Gaston Toutant Peacefully, with his family by his side Vic passed away on November 15, 2009 at Foyer Valade. He was born on January 27, 1925 in Arran, Sask. Vic was predeceased by his parents Emilien and Clarita, brothers Fred and Roland. He leaves to cherish his memory Laurette, his loving wife of 51 years and children Jacqueline Cook (Jim), Maurice and Lucille. He will be missed by his much loved grandchildren Robert, Matthew and Breanne. He also leaves to mourn his sister Lynn, brothers Emile (Marie) and Richard (Lucy). Vic was a hardworking family man who was committed to the well being of Laurette, his children and grandchildren. He lived a quiet life with simple needs. He had a special interest in politics and history and enjoyed watching news events and sports on television. The family would like to thank Henriette Pambrun for her prayers and daily visits, Maurice and Denise Prejet and the wonderful staff of Foyer Valade for their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing prior at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St. with Fr. Ron Leger officiating. Interment to follow at St. Boniface Cemetery. Donations may be made in Victor's memory to St. Amant Center, 440 River Rd. Wpg, MB, R2M 3Z9 or a charity of your choice.
