Obituary of Linda Tuchiwsky
Linda Jane Tuchiwsky
It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our dear Linda Jane Tuchiwsky. Linda passed away July 13th, 2010 at the Riverview Health Centre after a lengthy, courageous battle with cancer.
Linda was predeceased by her father John in 1972.
Linda is survived by her mother Anne as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and all her friends.
Linda was born March 10, 1950 in Winnipeg. She worked for the provincial government where she was well respected in the political circles. Linda made the jump to work at the Manitoba Telephone System where she worked for over 20 years. Linda was a valued member of the Yellow Pages family where she worked in sales. Many of Linda's colleagues remained close and brought over numerous hampers and baskets for her and her mom during her illness. Linda's spirit and love for life was second to none. Linda could light up a room by walking in with her wonderful smile and her out going personality. There was never a dull moment when Linda was around. She had an opinion on most matters and she was not shy to share it with anyone who would listen.
It was her special bond with her mom that will go on forever. Upon her father's death she vowed to look after her mother where she did her very best until just recently. The two of them were always together, laughing and sharing everything with each other.
Special thanks to her family and friends for their love and support through this difficult time, as well as the Doctors and nurses at the Riverview Health Centre and Seven Oaks Hospital.
