Obituary of Vera URBAN
VERA URBAN
(nee Serafin)
On November 25, 2010 at the Riverview Health Centre, Vera beloved wife, mother grandmother and great grandmother, passed away at the age of 77 years.
Vera is survived by her husband of 57 years, Walter; daughters Lyn Gatchell (George), Laurie Molnar (Karl), Tracie Spence (Jim); son Michael Urbanovich (Louise) and niece Jennifer Williamson with her children Natiya and Michael; grandchildren Tammy, Trevor, Amanda, Ryan and Heather; great grandchildren Aurora, Roxy and Ethan; as well as aunt Lena Tesarski; sister-in-law Irene Urban; brother-in-law Danny Urban and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Alex; mother Anne; sisters Helen and Natalie.
Mom love her garden, crossword puzzles and time spent with her family, especially on special occasions. She loved spending time with her daughter Tracie on Wednesdays, playing bingo and go to the casino.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the care provided to Vera these past weeks by Sharon, Jackie, Mercedes, Yamin, Pam and many other wonderful homecare workers. Special thank you as well to all the doctors and staff for the wonderful care they gave at Riverview palliative care unit.
Prayers will be said on Monday, November 29 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Highway #1 East & Navin Road.
