Obituary of Clarence Weston

CLARENCE GEORGE WESTON May 1, 1935 - June 4, 2009 Suddenly and with deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Clarence on June 4, 2009 after his struggle with heart problems. Clarence is predeceased by his wife Ollie, mother Mary, sister Marjorie and brother Ron. He leaves behind sisters Joyce and Eileen, son Ron (Cheryl), daughters Sharon (Dan), Wendy (Wally), grandchildren Shane, Amber, Jeff, Amanda, Dane, Heather, Kirsty, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances. Clarence retired from Manitoba Hydro in 1992 after 36 years of service. Following retirement he enjoyed many years of traveling with his 5th wheel down to Mesa, Arizona and spending his summers at Tall Timber Lodge. Clarence enriched us all with his great sense of humor, outgoing personality and his zest for life. The family would like to send special thanks to Seven Oaks Hospital Nursing Staff for their care and compassion. Clarence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
