OLGA WRIGHT
(nee Misyk)
Oct. 29, 1913-Nov. 13, 2010
Olga passed away at West Park Manor Personal Care Home.
Olga was born in Winnipeg and lived her first few years there. The family moved to Walkleyburg where she attended Brookside School. She moved back to Winnipeg where she met and married Lloyd in 1942. She and Lloyd raised three daughters. Lloyd passed away in 1961 and at this time she went to work at Diane's Wedding Gowns where she worked for many years.
Olga is survived by her daughters Dianne Johnstone, Debra Johnston (Rod) and Sally Brosnyak (George). Olga is also survived by sister Florence Bobowski and grandchildren Kyle, Ryan, Tyler, Pierce and Jordanna and numerous nieces and nephews.
Olga was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Misyk, sisters Minnie (Vern) Tucker and son Gerald, Anne (John) Bunio and son Larry, Mary (George) Fisher and brother Elmer Misyk, son-in-law Ken Johnstone and brother-in-law Frank Bobowski.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at West Park Manor for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place on Friday, November 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olga's memory to West Park Manor Trust Fund.
