Obituary of ANNIE KOLENCH
Annie Kolench
( nee Dziver)
October 21, 1916 – April 6, 2012
With her family by her side, Mum passed away surrounded with peace and love.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill 1979 son Stanley, 2007, granddaughter Geraldine Cryderman 2011.
She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Catherine, sisters Mary Lasiuk, Margaret Shmyr, Jessie Danyluk, Victoria Dziver, brothers Peter and Paul, daughter-in- law Georgina Kolench, and grandson-in-law Randy Serkes.
Left to mourn her passing are her children Wally (Ann), Eddie, Phyllis Vince
(Ken), Lorraine Felde (Jim) and Eugene (Shirley). Her precious 15 grandchildren,
18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson will miss their Baba. Also grieving her loss are her sisters Jean Stople (Jerry) and Francis Kruk, and several nieces and nephews.
After farming in Elphinstone and McConnell the family moved to Winnipeg in 1957.
With Dad’s passing in 1979 Mum became the family matriarch. Family was very
important to Mum, as she loved them all dearly.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to St Joseph Residence for the care
given to mum for the past two and half years and her family especially this last month. A special thank-you to nurses Judy and Helen, for helping mum make her journey a peaceful one and to the entire staff of angels who took wonderful care of our Mum. Thank you to Chaplin Norman for visits and his prayers
Active pallbearers will be grandsons; Eugene Kolench, Ken Vince Jr., Jeff Felde, Dean
Kolench, great-grandchildren Jamie Trapp and Leanne Saliken.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday April 13, 2012, Officiant will be Father Walter Klimchuk. Interment at Brookside Cemetery.
