Obituary of JANINA OGLOZA
JANINA OGLOZA
On September 12, 2011, surrounded by the love of her family and friends, Janina Ogloza, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital.
Janina leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved husband Joseph, of 46 years, sons George (Roma) and Ed (Joan); daughter Marian (Jack); and cherished granddaughters Alison and Vanessa; brother Zdzislaw (Maria); nieces and nephews in Canada and Poland and her dear friend Zofia Mucha.
Janina was born in Poland on May 6, 1925 and came to Canada in 1965 to marry Joseph. They worked hard but also enjoyed life. They travelled extensively to Hawaii, Poland and throughout Canada, but their favourite trips were by car to the west coast with their friends to Radium Hot Springs.
Janina was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook and homemaker. She loved to garden and pick mushrooms. Her pride and joy were her two granddaughters Alison and Vanessa. She will be greatly missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. with Rosary prior at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery.
