Obituary of TEDDY JAWORSKI
TEDDY JAWORSKI
October 1,1929-September 12, 2011
Dad went to sleep September 11th and awoke on the 12th in the arms of The Lord.
Teddy came from humble beginnings with 10 siblings. He was born and spent his entire life in the north end. Dad was very proud that he passed from Grade 9 to l0, but decided to go to work to help support the family.
In his early years, he married his first girlfriend and love Marion. Along came Leonard (Edna), twins Teresa(Peter) and Ted(Kathy); grandchildren, Judd, Kevin, Kyle, Stacey, Jimmy; great granddaughter Alexandria.
In 1952, he started at Manitoba Bridge and worked there for forty years. He had many cherished friends there, particularly John and Dale.
After retirement, Teddy spent many hours reminiscing with his buddies at the local pub. Many thanks to the people there who took care of "Teddy Bear" when he came back to visit.
His sense of humour and easy-going nature made Teddy a pleasure to be around.
He never tired of going for drives with Leonard to Lockport. The end of the drive usually involved a side trip for his favorite meal, Champs chicken.
Once forgetfulness became his nearly constant companion, he resided at Holy Family Nursing Home. Many thanks to the staff of 5A who treated him with love and kindness.
A private family ceremony has taken place, by Dad's wishes.
We love you Dad
