Obituary of JOHN ROMANCE
JOHN ROMANCE
August 9, 1911 - September 25, 2011
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of John Romance on September 25, 2011 at Seven Oaks Hospital.
John was born in Winnipeg MB on August 9, 1911. He was one of eight children born to Alexandra and Gregory Romance. He was predeceased by his loving wife Anne, sisters Anne and Julia, brothers Walter, Mike, Peter, William and Paul, many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Left to cherish John's memory are; son Stephen and his wife Sheila, grandchildren Donna and her husband John, David and his wife Robyn and great- grand¬children Tyler, Haillee, Maverick, Jonathon and Kyra.
John was a great community man and he was always there with a helping hand. His favourite saying was "hard work never killed anyone."
His grandchildren were extra special to him and he welcomed them with arms out-stretched. He loved his grandchildren and watching them achieve their goals was special to him.
Prayers will be held on Saturday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m. with the Funeral at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Marissa for all of the care and outings that she took Dad on. She was a family angel, being there when we couldn’t.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
