Obituary of BERNICE KOMINOWSKI

BERNICE KOMINOWSKI On Saturday, November 16 at the Health Sciences Centre, Bernice, beloved sister passed away at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn her passing her brothers, Joseph, Victor and Stanley: and the love of her life Reg Cassie. She was predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Jennie Kominowski; sister Mary; brothers, Edward, Walter and John. Bernice worked as a medical receptionist for Dr. Samuel Bellan for fourty years. During that time, she of course, made many lasting friendships, among them Barb, Debbie, Michelle and Olive. She loved animals, her favorite was Caesar. She loved her time with Reg doing their flower garden every spring. She always found personal time for patients, either visiting or keeping in touch by phone. Bernice struggled in her last ten years, battling cancer, but never gave up, keeping a positive attitude until it overtook her. She will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, donations in Bernice’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
