Obituary of BRUCE CHARLES BARCLAY
BRUCE CHARLES BARCLAY
It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of our Father and Grandfather, Bruce on December 7th, 2013 in his 77th year. Bruce is predeceased by his beloved Olga (Ollie) Muzik (August 2012), and his Grandmother who raised him, his Mother, Aunt and Uncle.
Bruce was born in Ottawa and moved to Winnipeg in 1962. Bruce loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He shared his passion for sports with them. He enjoyed many sporting events including Moose and Jets games, Bomber games and Goldeye games. His grandchildren were often clothed in his team logos. Ultimately his passion and love for his grandchildren were highlighted by attending their games and events. He enjoyed darts and activities with friends and vacation time spent with family. He was father to John - Toronto, Tracy (Mike) - Toronto, David (Michelle) - Winnipeg and Charlene (Barton) - Edmonton. Loving Grandfather (Gramps) to Juliana, Max, James, Cleo, and Martina; he will be fondly remembered. Bruce was proud of his children and their families. All family and friends remaining will cherish their memories of him.
As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:00pm.
If desired, memorial donations in lieu of flowers to: The True North Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba would be appreciated by the family. Our family would like to thank all those that have supported, comforted and reassured us during this time.
Remembrance keeps him near, forever in our heart.
