Obituary of DOUGLAS HORNE
DOUGLAS HORNE
Sadly, early Saturday, January 18, 2014, Doug passed away.
Left to mourn is his wife of 51 years,Doreen, sons Dean, Darren,Doug, daughter Dawn, and son-in-law Eric. Also left are grandchildren Iain, James, Eric, Emily, Lauren and great-grandchild McKinnon. He will be missed by his family, as everything he did was for them.
Family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at CancerCare and 5E at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
Doug worked hard as a self employed contractor for most of his life. He was generous to friends and strangers, so if you wish donations can be made to Siloam Mission in his memory.
Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
Doug will be remembered for living his life with no regrets.
