Obituary of GERALDINE WASYLKO

GERALDINE (GERRY / BEANNIE) JOSEPHINE WASYLKO May 6, 1943 – January 22, 2014 It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing or our Mom Geraldine Wasylko on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Mom was predeceased by our Dad Edward John Wasylko; her parents John Hominiuk & Olga Hominiuk and her brother George Hominiuk Mom leaves behind her sister Rose and Harry, sons Dale (Diane), Danny (Shawna), Darrin (Cheryl) and Derek (Cheryl): her grandchildren Kevin, Meghan and Emily, her partner Rick, her aunty Olga, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mom and Dad always loved going fishing in the summer months to Caribou Falls in Ontario and up to Grand Rapids, Manitoba, Later in life after the passing of her husband Edward she met Rick and many other great friends at the Army Navy. She got involved in curling, bowling, bingo and shuffle board and just enjoying friends at the Legion. Gerry loved all her family very much. Each and every one of us hold our very own special memories of her in our hearts to get us through this sad and difficult time. A Gathering will be held on Thursday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private interment will be at a later date when she will be placed with her husband Edward Wasylko. We would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for the great care in her final hours of life, and also Cropo Funeral Home (Dougie) for making this process easier for her sons.
