Obituary of KEITH SAWCHUK
KEITH RICHARD CORY SAWCHUK
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Keith Sawchuk, aged 32, beloved son, brother, nephew and friend on Saturday, February 8, 2014.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Russell and Christine Sawchuk, grandparents Edward Prince and Diane Olsen and father Cory Sawchuk (2003).
He leaves to mourn his mother (Elsie); brothers (Gary and Perry); sister (Trisha) and too many other family and friends to list.
Keith was born on September 7, 1981 in Winnipeg, MB. He attended Tec-Voc high school where he played football for the Tecvoc Hornets and north Winnipeg Nomads. Keith loved to drive and found himself a career delivering the free press throughout eastern Manitoba. His love for the road didn’t stop with work, Keith made road-trips to the mountains his vacation spot of choice and found himself there a couple times a year. He will always be remembered for his happy go lucky attitude, big warm hugs and always taking time to help family and friends.
A wake will be held in his honor on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until midnight at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Prayers begin at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. the following day Thursday, February 20, 2014 with the burial at All Saints Cemetery in West St. Paul.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trisha Sawchuk’s University Fund, Scotiabank 1425 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB.
