Obituary of JUDY ANN HERMISTON

JUDY ANN HERMISTON (nee McCALLUM) With heavy hearts we say goodbye to our oldest sister Judy Hermiston, who passed away suddenly on February 27th 2014. Predeceased by our father Roy McCallum, our sweet mother Ethel McCallum and sister-in-law Linda Maxom, Judy was the matriarch of our family and will be truly and deeply missed. Judy’s often thought of 'triplet’ sisters Patty (Dave Armstrong) and Kim (John Irvine), along with her brothers James and Donald (Bev McCallum) have so many wonderful memories, which is what holds us together in this time of sadness. We remember Judy as a strong and private person, who took great pride in her life and work. Throughout her life Judy was extremely hardworking, she had a passion for doing very meaningful work, we are very proud of her and her career successes. She enjoyed traveling, and spending time with her life-long friends, but more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family. Judy had many nieces and nephews, Wanda (Paul), Jeff (Kristen) McCallum, Robert and Scott (Shawna) Armstrong, Tom (Lori) Irvine, Heather (Matthew) and Pamela McCallum, as well as great nieces and nephews, Chandra and Braden, Graysen and Madison, Erin and Mason, of which she was a great part of their lives. Judy was a passionate animal lover, her dogs Cindy, Amber and Mac were her children and she loved and missed them dearly. There will be no service at Judy’s request, instead we ask that in lieu of flowers and support please make a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Parkinson Society Manitoba in Judy’s name, both causes very close to her heart. Judy, we all love you and have not yet realized how much we will miss you. Please say hello to Mom and Dad for us, we take comfort in how happy you must be to see them, Cindy, Mac and Amber once again.
