Obituary of DONALD MICHAEL GERAS ZACHARKO

DONALD MICHAEL GERAS ZACHARKO March 16, 1946 – March 7, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Don at the age of 67 years. He leaves to mourn his Auntie Addie and numerous other relatives in Winnipeg, Calgary and the United States. Don was predeceased by father Michael in 1979 and mother Angela in 2010. He was a loving and devoted son. He was a graduate of Sisler High School and received a Civil Engineering Degree from the Manitoba Institute of Technology. He then went on to work for Versatile Industries. Don enjoyed travelling and often spoke, with fond memories, of trips to Trout Lake. We are fortunate to have shared many family dinners, holidays, and celebrations with him over the years. We wish to thank family and friends who have offered so much support at this difficult time. In accordance with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Cemetery, 4387 Main Street. Donations may be made in Don’s memory to a charity of your choice. The bond that makes your family is not of blood. But of respect and love of each other’s life. We will miss you Don God Bless
