1926 – 2014
On March 19, 2014, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Genowefa passed away peacefully at the age of 88, at Seven Oaks with family by her side.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family. She is now reunited with her husband, Jozef and her daughter Bozena. Genowefa is survived by her children; Boguslaw (Jadwiga), Andrzej (Kazimiera) and Elzbieta (Edward); many grand and great-grand-children, nephews, nieces, many family members in Poland and numerous friends.
Genowefa was born in Warsaw, Poland and came to Winnipeg in 1980 then worked for Tundra. Her devotion to the family consumed much of her days. She made the best faworki. She was very skilled at tailoring, knitting and crocheting. Genowefa always had a smile on her face and her absence will be deeply felt.
