Obituary of MARGARET HOUSTON
MARGARET HOUSTON
The family, with heavy hearts, announce the passing of our loving wife/mother, Margaret Houston (nee Dychakowsky), age 86, on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Charlie and sister, Olga (Fougere) of Winnipeg. Margaret was the proud mother of daughters Theresa and Monica. She was pre-deceased by parents Helen and Tom, sisters Marie (Stasynec), Ann (Sawchuk) and brothers Roy, William and Peter.
Margaret’s life was one of kindness, service and gratitude. She devoted her time to family, home, and church and served for many years with the ACC Ladies’ Group, using her great talents to serve others. She was the love of our lives.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the compassionate care offered by staff at Grace Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave. Private interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that loved ones follow Margaret’s great example and perform an act of kindness in her memory.
