Mestre Dinis, thank you for all the things you taught us, thank you for your friendship, for your smile, and most of all for being you.
I will treasure all the things you made for us, The bird cage, the bench, and the calcadeira (shoe horn) which is used everyday and serves as a constant reminder of the person who made it. you are the symbol of Portuguese ingenuity . one of my treasure gifts is the carrocinha you made us all one. It will be treasured. As I read your obituary, I still can't believe you are gone. You are now home with the Lord and one day we will too be with our saviour. My thoughts of you are driving down the back lane in the red Pinto station wagon. along with the wonderful garden in which you worked it so hard. as well as the cornish hens. Today, heaven is richer and you have brought them all a smile.
