JOSEPH SKOMOROWSKY Joe went home to the Lord on Friday, April 25, 2014 after a brave fight with cancer at the age of 77 years. Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Yvonne; dear father to Debbie, Sandy (Bill), Tommy and Joey; Papa to Sean, Holly and Jesse. He was predeceased by his parents Lena (nee Chuckry) and Fred Skomorowsky; brothers Michael, Edward, Bill, Nick; sister Rose and son-in-law Grant Kennedy. Joe’s greatest joy in life was spending time with Yvonne and the family. He loved camping, boating and fishing. He generously gave his time and effort to each one of us. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held on Friday, May 2 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In memory of Joe, a contribution to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. “Heaven sent and safely returned to God,” “Dad, you are deeply missed.
