Obituary of VICTOR KRISCIUNAS
VICTOR KRISCIUNAS
Victor (Vytautas) Krisciunas passed away peacefully on January 18, 2014.
Victor was predeceased by his wife of 73 years, Jadvyga, this past December.
Victor was born in Lithuania on May 20, 1916 and immigrated to Canada in 1948 with Jadvyga and their first son Harvey and made their home in Winnipeg. He was employed by the Federal Government at the Canada Food Inspection Agency for 22 years. Victor was an active and respected member of the Lithuanian community and was a member of the Holy Ghost Church.
Victor is survived by his two sons Harvey and Victor (Tammy), his two grandchildren, David (Tara) and Elizabeth, and his three great-grandchildren Andrew, William and Rebecca.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
