Dear Lance & Cynthia, Tom & Shannon, Sharon & Al - We were very sad to hear of Lorin's sudden passing. My Dad, Harold, and I had plans to come to Winnipeg to see him one more time, but it was not meant to be. Our thoughts are with you all as you cope with your loss. Lorin was a very special man to all of us who had the honour of knowing him. I'll always remember his hearty laugh, big smile and how important it was for him to keep in touch. Rarely did a Christmas or Birthday go by without a call from cousin, Lorin, saying "Hello, Dah'lin" which would make my day! He was so much fun to be around & always made us laugh. We will treasure our memories of the good times spent with him, and of course his world famous wings! May he rest in eternal peace. With Love from Cousins Lecia & Dave, Brennan & Jinelle Zurowski - Regina Beach, SK

We were so saddened to hear about our dear friend, Lorin sudden passing. We put a condolence on the Winnipeg free press site but it hasn't shown up here so am resending it again, apologies if it goes on twice. We have very fond memories of Lorin, Eileen and Lance when we were neighbours in the maples. For years after we moved we all got together for friend reunions and made very fond special memories with all the families. We got to watch all our children grow up together. Our prayers and thoughts are with Lance and his family. lorin was always happy, positive and funny!! He will be missed but will always be remembered.

We are very Saddened by the passing of a Good Friend; and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to Lance & his family and all Lorin's Family in the Bahamas for their Great Loss.
Lorne was a very dear person. Especially for Me (Ethel) when he was the Rector's Warden at St. Barnabas he would sit and just listen to me ramble on, when I lost my First Husband. He was a very concerning person. He also was "the Life of the Party" and a great cook. He cooked for several of the Social Events at St. Barnabas, and was a Fun Person that always livened everyone's spirits!!! He will be greatly missed by us and we were so glad to have had the chance to visit with him the 2 days prior to his passing......and will always hear his final words to me: "I love You Too Darlin' " I will cherish those last words forever. God Speed, You are at Home now.........
We will always miss your smile and good humour, And all the Good Fun Times, but they & will be thought of always!
Ethel &n Don
