Obituary of RYAN TRENT DENEKA

RYAN TRENT DENEKA April 7, 1974 – May 27, 2014 It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Ryan Deneka on May 27, 2014 in Edmonton. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his wife Kim Lundell and step-children, Tyler and Aimee Lundell. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother Julia (Judy) Deneka; sisters, Karen Julius (James Carter) and Colleen Sangster (Paul Lavallee); brother Dwayne Deneka (Kelly); mother-in-law Donna Pearson; brother-in-law Al Pearson (Lindsay) and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Walter in 2001. Ryan was born, raised and educated in Winnipeg, attending Immaculate Heart of Mary and Tec Voc High Schools. Ryan had a tremendous zest for life and lived every minute to the fullest. He had unmeasurable courage and strength and his love ran deeply. He touched many lives and will be missed by everyone who met him. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will take place Saturday, June 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Okno West Community Cemetery in Okno, MB. Honourary pallbearers will be Ryan’s step-children, nieces and nephews: Tyler Lundell, Aimee Lundell, Lindsay Sangster, Jaiden and Julia Deneka, Keren Heidinger, Brady Pearson and Aspyn Pearson. Active pallbearers will be his brother, brother-in-law and nephews: Dwayne Deneka, Paul Lavallee, Aaron Sangster, Brian Julius, Trevor Julius and Chad Chartrand. The family would like to thank Dr. Isabelle Vonder Muhl and Dr. David Ross for their exemplary care over the past 8 years and the staff of 3A7/3A8 for their compassionate care in putting up such a great fight for Ryan.
