Obituary of VERLIE BAILEY

VERLIE BAILEY Peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2014, Verlie passed away at the age of 77. Verlie was predeceased by her husband John; and grandson Danny. She will be greatly missed by her four children, John (Julie), Gloria, Kathy (Artie), Terri (Jimmy); grandchildren, Amber, Michelle, Sasha, Jimmy, Ryan, Cody ,Jerry, Aaron and Jaycee; nine great-grandchildren; and her niece June. Mom held many jobs over the years, but her biggest pride was working at Regina House, alongside dad as house managers, mentors and guidance counsellors up until her retirement. The family would like to thank all the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 3rd floor, unit 4 for all your care and compassion. A special thanks to Nikki Lazarenko and Jan McAuley. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1P6.
