She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Kim Brown, Susan Reid (Dwight), Greg (Megan) Sobie, Kristin (Nathan) Nickerson, Alan (Alaina) Sobie and Spencer Sobie, as well as, her great-granddaughters, Audrey and Adele Sobie, and Ella and Mia Nickerson. Tillie was predeceased by her husband Frank; and her beloved grandson Mackenzie Sobie.
Tillie was born to Maria and Onufrey Semkiw on October 5, 1923. She was raised on a family farm in Meleb, MB. She married Frank on January 24, 1942. They farmed for a time in Meleb, moved to Red Lake, ON and eventually returned to Winnipeg where they raised their family. She had many fond memories of time spent with family at the cottage in Gimli. Her greatest joy was being with her family and preparing special dinners. She was a lifelong caregiver to her family!
