It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marion, beloved wife of William (Billy) on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital. After a courageous battle, Marion succumbed to her illness at 78 years of age.
Marion was employed by the Holy Family Home and T-Eaton Company in her younger years. She was a great planner and organizer and also enjoyed cooking and entertaining. Marion loved gardening and making preserves.
She is survived by her husband William, her children; eldest son Alan Martyszenko (Karol), daughter Paulette Cooley (Richard) and youngest son Gary (Penny); grandchildren; Jonathan, Vanessa, Amber, Candace and Kelsey.
Her final days were spent under the care of the excellent staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for their compassionate support and continuous help from the WRHA Home Care.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic, 737 Bannerman Avenue, Winnipeg.
Gary Martyszenko, son of Marion will be the honorary Pall Bearer.

God saw me getting tired
when cure was not to be
he put his gentle arms around me
and whispered "come to me"
and when you travel this lonely road
I'll be there waiting
saying "Welcome Home"
"Till we meet again"
