AMALIA MONTANINO
Peacefully on October 5, 2014, Amalia passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 89.
Amalia was predeceased by her husband Roberto, and is survived by her sons Riccardo (Maria), Fiorenzo (Gina), Raniero (Lucia) and Diego; grandchildren Amalia (James), Roberto (Andrea), Ferruccio, Dario, Roberto, Daniele, Adriano, and Arianna; great grandchildren Maria Angela, Riccardo, and Madeline; sisters and brothers, Rosa, Giuseppina, Carlo, Antonio, and Assunta and their families all from Italy.
Amalia was born on July 28, 1925 in Manocalzati, Italy and came to Winnipeg in 1980.
The family would like to express their thanks to Homecare for their exceptional care over the years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Viewing will commence at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Angel Mausoleum.
Mamma, you will be deeply missed, and forever loved.
