Our Dad, John Barnicki passed away at Holy Family Home at the age of 90 years.

John is survived by children Janet (Jack), Ken (Dawn), Don (Adeline); grandchildren Ashleigh, Meagan, Thomas, Larissa, Shaun; great grandchildren Ryan, Addyson, Madison and Caiden.
Dad served his country in World War II in the Italian Campaign as a member of the Princess Patricia’s Light Infantry. He returned to Canada, met Mom and married and raised three children together. John worked at MTS for over 30 years and then enjoyed a lengthy and productive retirement. He and Mom got to see much of North America in their frequent travels.
Dad loved his family and was always willing to help his children with any projects and enjoyed spending time at their cottages in the summer.
In his last days, Dad resided at Holy Family Home. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for him with such compassion.
