Obituary of HELEN OSTROWSKI
HELEN OSTROWSKI
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother on November 6, 2014.
Helen leaves to cherish her memory Ron Faryna (Judy); grandchildren Jason, Steven and Jonathon Faryna, also sister-in-law Mary and nieces in London, ON.
She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Brona Ostrowski; brother Albin Ostrowski and her sons Gary Faryna and Kevin Faryna.
Helen was born in St. Norbert and lived most of her life in Winnipeg. She was employed at Brinks, CIBC, Eaton’s Polo Park cash office and the provincial government from where she retired.
Helen was a religious person and her faith helped her through many difficult times.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Avenue with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
