Obituary of PETER DEMIDIUK
PETER DEMIDIUK
June 10, 1932 – November 15, 2014
(Peter, devoted father and grandfather)
Our father was a humble man; he never liked to be the centre of attention. In life and now in death, he wouldn’t want us to focus on the sadness of his passing, but instead focus on the happiness in our lives. He would want us to appreciate each other and our future.
Peter was predeceased by his parents, Elias and Kulina Demidiuk; his brother and sisters, Michael, Anne and Leda. Peter will be missed greatly by his surviving family, his brother Mack; sisters, Mary and Ruby; children, Robert Demidiuk, Linda Marsch (Lonnie); grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, Sarah, Brent, Ian and Haley; and many friends.
Peter worked for the City of Winnipeg as a surveyor for 36 years retiring on June 4, 1988. Peter was an avid outdoorsman and who also enjoyed being with friends at his favorite hangout “ASD”.
A service will be held in the spring of 2015.
