Obituary of DAN KUZYK
DAN KUZYK
March 20, 1948 – December 7, 2014
It is with profound sadness Judy announces the passing of her beloved husband on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Health Sciences Centre.
Dan is survived by his wife Judy of 32 years; two sisters, Olga and Iris; also one brother David. He is predeceased by his parents, Nick and Anne Kuzyk.
Dan was born and raised in Theodore, Saskatchewan and came from a large family of ten children. Dan and Judy were married May 29, 1982 in the Westminster United Church.
His aptitude for building and fixing things gave him joy; always helping others. His real passion was planting flowers and gardening. He also enjoyed watching all sports and playing cards. Dan moved from Saskatchewan to Manitoba gaining employment with Cargill for 34 years as a Grain Inspector which he found rewarding. Dan was a gentle, caring, compassionate and generous man and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dan’s memory may be made to The Lung Association of Manitoba.
