To all of our nieces and nephews, we share in the loss of your mom, Amma, langamma and our sister, Pauline Magnusina. We grieve her loss for sure, but there are so many fond memories of being together with Magnusina, at the Sugar Shack at the lake, at the farm, ponnukokurs, viarterta and borscht. Some good. Tonight, in remembering Pauline in a small way, we made borscht from her recipe that she gave us many years ago. We wish we could be out there in Winnipeg with the family, but Uncle Stefan and Auntie Marquise will be having our own little remembrance of her life on Tuesday as you are gathering. We hope to see you in the Spring. God's peace to all.

To Pauline's Family
My thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of your mom
and Amma. I considered your Mom one of my closest friends. Pauline never missed phoning her friends on their birthdays to give well wishes. She was always there to listen and share stories . She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and I will miss hearing her stories and "bragging" about how wonderful you all are. At school Pauline always made the students keep in line but she had a heart of gold . She loved them all and took care of them and they loved her (many of them called her granny) She was a wonderful friend and truly a great lady. I will miss her very much

Charlotte, my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I didn't know your Mom but she sounds like someone I should have known. She sounds like a wonderful and caring person. As you know - having lost my Mom this past summer I can really feel the pain you are going through. All I can say is that time does heal but you will never forget the good times that you shared. Always remember those times to get you through the tough times, it has helped me. You also have to hold on to your siblings in this time of sorrow to help with the healing. take care - talk to you soon.

We were so sad to hear of your Mom's passing, our hearts go out to you for the loss you are all feeling. Having spent many birthday celebrations with the Gutowski's, it was quite obvious how very important each and every one of you were to her. You always knew she was the one that ruled the roost no matter which child's house she was in and you could always see the pride on her face of the family she created. Hold the memories of your Mom close to your heart and she will always be there with you.

Our sincerest sympathy to Pauline's family. Being neighbours to the Sopher family for many years in Selkirk our friendship goes back a long way.
Cherish all your precious memories of family times together, they will give you strength to get through the weeks ahead.
She loved her family dearly and was very proud of all of you.

There is not many people that leave a lasting effect on a person but she was one of them.She never had to treat me the way she did, but the time we where in each others lives she showed me love. I was a stupid hooligan kid that didn't deserve it most of the time but she never turned me away. I really regret never getting a hold of her to let her know the positive influence she had on me and how much the love she showed me meant to me.
